In the heart of the magnificent landscapes of northern Ardèche, Patricia and Rémi Bonneton passionately cultivate Domaine de l'Alezan, founded in 2013. Former marketing and animal traction professionals, they joined forces to create an estate dedicated to natural wine. Located on diverse terroirs blending loess, granite, and clay-granite soils, their plots are home to Marsanne, Syrah, Albariño, Pinot Noir, and Savagnin. Worked exclusively by hand or with horses, without tractors or pesticides, their vines embody a profound respect for nature. In parallel, their "La Tangente" project showcases grapes selected from friends who are winemakers. It is within this framework that Merci was born, a naturally sparkling rosé wine made from young Syrah and Marsanne vines grown on hillsides and terraces of decomposed loess and granite.
