Château Lafitte, a former 14th-century manor house, is nestled in a peaceful, hilly setting in Monein, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. On its 5 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards, the estate cultivates Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grapes, surrounded by fruit trees, cereals, sheep, and bees, fostering rich biodiversity.
Since 2012, Antoine Arraou, son of the owners, has passionately managed the estate, producing natural and biodynamic wines certified by Demeter. An eco-friendly winery, built in 2018, reflects the estate's environmental commitment, combining energy self-sufficiency, rainwater harvesting, and gravity-flow winemaking. The wines of Château Lafitte are the expression of a generous terroir, exacting winemaking expertise, and a harmony with nature.
