The wine comes from the vineyards of Domaine Emmanuel de Bar, located in the Hérault department, and is produced in the cellars of Vincent Boyer in Meursault, Burgundy. The Yves Boyer Martenot estate was taken over by André Boyer. In 1945, he married Juliette Devèze, originally from Puligny-Montrachet. In 1976, their son Yves took over and continued the family legacy by marrying Marie Cécile Martenot, daughter of a winemaker from Meursault. Today, the son manages the entire estate, which covers ten hectares spread across several villages, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, and Pommard. The estate employs traditional methods: soil cultivation, yield control, green harvesting, and moderate treatments. Although not certified organic, its approach is remarkably close to that of organic farming.
